Case study
Royal Exhibition Buildings, Melbourne, VIC
One of the three heritage listed cultural sites in Australia underwent an upgrade that included adding access and fall protection to the multiple flagpoles and lights on the roofs and access to a newly constructed observation deck.
Rooftop Access Infrastructure
A large vertical rung ladder fitted with a fall arrest device and multiple midway rest platforms was installed onto the large dome, and multiple modular access stairs were included throughout the space, creating lightweight access over the intricate details.
