Developed in partnership with rope access technicians, these systems provide safe access over parapets and curtain walls. They feature a low visual impact from ground level and can be easily stored away when not in use.

Effortless handling and relocation
Constructed from lightweight aluminium components, Kattsafe davits and needles are designed for easy handling, assembly, and disassembly. Comprising just a few main components with easy-use locking pins, they are simple to move around from base to base or between areas.

Confidently keep control
When working at heights it is imperative that the user is able to easily handle components without the fear of losing control of their equipment. Needle telescopic boom allows an additional 500mm of extension. Adjustable davit boom anchor enables safe access over parapets. Standard davit arms are rated to withstand a 12kN rope access load. Models with additional strengthening can be rated at 15kN.

The Kattsafe davits and needles are engineered and designed to conform with requirements of the Australian and New Zealand Standards AS/NZS 5532:2013 AS/NZS/ISO22846, AS/NZS1891 and relevant codes of practices and guidelines. Rigorous testing based on the requirements of Australian Standard AS/NZS 1891 and AS/NZS 5532 where they are both dynamically and statically load tested.
